See The Linden at The Sonoma County Fair Tiny Town

Going to the Sonoma County Fair? So is Tumbleweed! See the new Linden design and get to know other fans and Tumbleweed experts. We will be located (appropriately enough) in Tiny Town just in front of the blue wall on the Community Theater lawn.

Here are some photos taken by the Tumbleweed staff at opening day of The Sonoma County Fair. Great turnout for Day 1, looking forward to the rest of the time at the fair.

can you show the interior of the Linden design???

  • Di Lou

Hina, you can see a couple pictures of the interior if you look at the rental on the homepage. You can’t see much, but the interior is pretty much like the others.

No interior photos? Really? Why even create the subpage? Interior is the most important part. These sites frustrate me when they pull this stuff.

Will there be a video tour available for those of us too poor and/or busy to make it there? LOL That would be nice!

Seriously, posts that have only exterior images or images that are so tightly focused on a shelf or toilet pipe or the surrounding landscape really tell me all I need to know.

    What exactly does this mean?

I agree with the lack of interior photos (hard to get a camera in there when it’s already been completed?), inaccurate pricing and expensive designs ($500 to $1,000 each). I don’t understand why people think this is a good idea. You could build a child’s playhouse for a whole lot less. Insulate it and “camp out” all you want.

These are travel trailers on foundations, made of wood. Cute ideas but are they really workable full-time? It would be like living in a gypsy wagon or a tiny travel trailer. I’ve done both but it gets old fast. I think it’s a great idea to downsize our houses, but for the very expensive costs here I would rather build a fishing cottage and have enough room to stand up and move around.
